We are starting to see just the first hint of fall, and I'm celebrating with some patent pleather pants. These are definitely a little bit out of character for me, but I love to mix things up and these were just too good to pass over. They are surprisingly comfortable and fit like a glove! There are literally endless ways to style these, and I think the edginess of the pants with the softness of the ruffled top is a nice contrast.
I actually forget to wear black as often as I would like. I am drawn naturally to white, neutrals, and muted colors like burnt oranges and colors from the seventies. But sometimes I just love a good black on black outfit, and these slouchy silk pants and oversized button down do the trick. Another side note, square toed shoes are killing it right now and these Grey City babies are a must. They are great quality and a great price point at the same time!

This look is the first of many with my new favorite pair of sunnies, from Tura Inc. The brand is featuring me as October's "Blogger of the Month" so I have styled a few looks including these "Pearl" sunglasses from the Kate Young x Tura collection. They have so many amazing sunglasses styles, but I was drawn to the minimal, seventies feel of this pair!
Another brand I'm collaborating with is Finders Keepers. They are yet another cool Aussie label, and this top by them is the perfect staple piece! There are unlimited ways to wear a top like this, and it makes you look instantly cool no matter how you style it.

A cool small brand on my radar currently is With Jean. They have romantic, ruffled pieces in breezy fabrics and a beautiful color palette that will make you want to frolic through a field of wildflowers. This wrap top is such a fun color, and the fit is a dream! I am in love with my first two pieces by With Jean, and am eager to see what they come up with next.
Ruffles have been having a moment for at least a couple of years now, and I can't say I'm over them yet! I just love the easy drama they bring to any outfit, and the fact that you can dress up or down or anywhere in between. This little Tracy Reese frilly top and cropped, flared jeans are the next step up from the t-shirt and jeans combo.
